Itâs a moment to reconnect with that child withinâthe one who used to draw without fear, without judgment, simply to feel.
Each session becomes a quiet celebration of presence, creativity, and emotional release. Whether surrounded by the calm of my studio or the breath of trees and birdsong outdoors, you are gently guided to let goâand just paint.

Mural of Return â
A Creative Journey with the Village
Duration: 4 hours
Price: 500 MAD per person
Location: Diabat, Essaouira
Languages: English, French, Arabic (as needed)
đ What is this experience?
This is not just a mural workshopâit's a ritual of return. A return to simplicity, connection, and collective creation.
For 4 transformative hours, you will step into the heart of a Moroccan village (Diabat) where walls become canvases, and children become co-artists. Together, we paint stories, symbols, and colors that reflect the spirit of the place. This is a living, breathing projectâa celebration of art as service, as joy, as shared humanity.
đ¤ More than a Workshop: A Humanitarian Project
Your participation directly supports the local kidsâ creativity. This initiative was born from the belief that every child deserves access to beauty, play, and self-expression.
We donât just paint muralsâwe print them on fabric and transform them into wearable art: t-shirts, jackets, or tote bags. The proceeds from these designs go toward building and supplying an art classroom in the villageâa sacred space where volunteers and artists like you can return to share your gifts and keep the creative fire alive.
đ¨ What You'll Do
Arrive and connect: You'll be welcomed into the village, meet local children, and learn the story behind the project.
Create together: With brushes in hand and colors at your feet, you'll co-create a mural with the kids.
Pause for reflection: Like a ritual, we take time to breathe, to feel the meaning behind what weâre doing.
Leave your mark: Your art becomes part of a lasting piece that uplifts the spaceâand lives beyond the wall.
Witness transformation: Youâll see how your act of painting helps shape fabric, clothing, and ultimately, a classroom.
𧥠Who is it for?
Artists, travelers, volunteers, dreamers.
Anyone seeking purpose in their creative expression.
No experience neededâjust an open heart and willingness to collaborate with children and the community.
đ What Youâll Walk Away With
A deep connection to place, people, and purpose
Memories of joyful collaboration
A chance to be part of a larger movement of art for change
Optional: take home a piece of wearable art created from the mural you helped paint
đď¸ Why It Matters
Because children who are seen become creators.
Because walls that speak through art inspire generations.
Because when art meets heart, entire communities rise.

In this 2-hour workshop, youâll work with local Moroccan clay, shaping it into a piece thatâs either rooted in traditional ceramic designs or entirely born from your imagination.
There is no rush, no pressureâonly the quiet rhythm of your hands meeting the earth. Whether it becomes a bowl, a face, a symbol, or a strange new form, your sculpture will carry the imprint of a moment when you allowed yourself to feel, to play, and to shape something real.

A warm welcome into the peaceful space of my Diabat art studio
An introduction to local clay and basic hand-sculpting techniques
A guided creative session, where youâll shape your own piece freely
Time to reflect and connect with the meaning or emotion behind what youâve made
The joy of creating something from nothingâsomething that speaks of you
đ§ The Concept: From Earth to Expression
This workshop is rooted in the idea of slow creation.
By touching clay, we reconnect with our own sense of being grounded, steady, and fluid at once.
Youâre not asked to âknow what to make.â
The clay will speak. Your hands will listen.
Together, theyâll guide you to form.
You can choose to sculpt a classic ceramic piece inspired by local Moroccan art, or explore something completely intuitive and abstract. The process is the purpose.
đ Why Join?
To reduce anxiety and overthinking through tactile focus
To experience the meditative nature of slow, mindful creation
To reconnect with your hands as tools of emotion and memory
To enjoy deep calm and playful curiosity in a warm, creative space
To feel inspired and grounded in the present moment
𧥠Who Is It For?
Anyone seeking peace through creation.
Perfect for travelers, families, friends, couples, or solo explorers looking for a soulful, off-the-path experience in a Moroccan village.
No prior experience with sculpture or clay needed.
đ What Youâll Leave With
A small sculpture or clay piece, made by your own hands
A deeper awareness of the beauty in slow, imperfect creation
A quiet sense of pride and joy
A story to carry homeâsomething ancient, yet deeply personal
